Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage engaging promotional content across social media platforms (X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual and editorial brand identity for the studio and its games.
  • Coordinate the release of trailers, promotional material, and announcements with the development team.
  • Track campaign performance, community growth, and social engagement using analytics tools.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for increasing visibility, including influencer outreach and collaborations.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely, coordinated messaging across all platforms.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with video editing and graphic design software (e.g., Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Canva).
  • Solid understanding of content strategy and best practices for major social media platforms.
  • Experience writing for promotional or editorial purposes with an eye for clarity, tone, and engagement.
  • Familiarity with content scheduling, analytics tools, and online trends.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a creative team.

Bonus

  • Experience marketing for indie games, creative projects, or startups.
  • Knowledge of Steam, itch.io, or other PC game platforms and how to promote games on them.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Passion for games, storytelling, and community-driven experiences.
