Job Overview

We are looking for a computer technician to join our team!

The IT Analyst will work independently or as part of a team, applying technical knowledge, expertise, and systems analysis techniques to make appropriate decisions regarding management, systems control, testing, problem-solving, providing advice and recommendations, and maintaining the organization’s technology system architecture. He / She will consult with users to determine system requirements for hardware, software, or system functional specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. Install, evaluate, and configure IT equipment (printers, laptops, and peripherals).
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates and patch management, to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Manage backups: maintain archiving and data retention according to the organization's procedures.
  • Analyze current IT systems, architectures, and processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze IT requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the team lead and manager on the planning, design, and implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain robust system processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, including HQ security department.
  • Interact with IT vendors and manage relationships to procure cost-effective hardware and software solutions.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, information technology, or telecommunications and networking.
  • Must have technical certification or 5+ years’ experience working with Windows operating systems, including recent Windows Server versions, Active Directory (Group Policy Object management), and DNS.
  • Experience with Citrix, IBM WebSphere, VMware / Hyper-V, cryptosystems (CA / RSA).
  • Knowledge of MS Exchange / MS Office 365.
  • Thorough understanding and troubleshooting skills in TCP / IP, routing, and IP troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of local and network-attached devices including printers, storage devices, scanners, etc.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database management systems (optional).
  • Experience supporting and / or using Privileged Access Management solutions such as CyberArk, Imprivata.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French; ability to communicate in English to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient communication and critical thinking skills to effectively interact with users, management, and others in seeking and implementing solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
