Informatica Developer

Project Description

Our client is looking for an Informatica Developer to perform data conversion in the context of a transformation project (moving from SAP to Oracle Fusion).

Activities

The Informatica Developer is responsible for the following components:

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in ETL processes and develop solutions to resolve them
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing on ETL processes

Service Requirements – Qualifications

To fulfill this role, the Informatica Developer must have the following qualifications:

• At least six (6) years of experience as an Informatica Developer for data conversion. Proficient in SQL, Unix and Shell scripting and have experience optimizing code for performance
• Conversion Project Experience: Prior experience working on SAP conversion or migration projects, with a clear understanding of the conversions and transformation phase and its critical role in the overall conversion.
• In-depth knowledge of systems development and project lifecycle methodologies, including experience implementing at least one major project from start to finish;
• First-class expertise in Data Transformation.
• Manage encryption and data security
• Must be able to troubleshoot issues and work independently to resolve technical problems.
• Familiarity in using tools such as Google Productivity Tools (or similar tools) to design and document your changes;
• Good knowledge of change and incident management methodologies and tools (ITSM, ITIL)
• Knowledge of Agile practices for specification and testing - an asset.
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
