Leveraging DevOps is essential for delivering innovative, reliable, and secure solutions. The DevOps Engineering team works with various business units using agile, lean, and DevOps methodologies, ensuring infrastructure remains highly available, secure, and optimized.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the DevOps Lead, Production Operations, you will join our Level 2 Application Support team, supporting growth within various business lines. The main focus is providing Level 2 support for production applications and enabling agile teams to deliver reliable and secure technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a DevOps Centre of Excellence and promote a culture of innovation
- Provide off-hours support and flexible working hours as needed
- Identify opportunities for system resilience and efficiency through automation
- Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve production incidents
- Support CI / CD processes using DevOps and Agile practices
- Debug systems and analyze metrics to identify issues
- Proactively recommend improvements for technical and procedural challenges
- Work with teams to test and tune systems for performance
- Support business initiatives using PaaS, IaaS, and on-premise technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of hands-on experience with Agile methodology
- 5 years of experience maintaining mission-critical distributed systems
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and Shell
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Rancher
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Strong Linux and Windows OS skills
- Ability to analyze data to identify issues and bottlenecks
- Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Desire to automate processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, order management, or market data
- Experience with performance testing and benchmarking
- Skills in Perl, JavaScript, Golang
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana
