A career as a Senior Analyst – Investment Fund derivatives on the Rating & Appraisal team at National Bank means contributing to the achievement of various deliverables by working in synergy with your team. Your leadership, experience in derivatives and knowledge of finance will have a positive impact on the client experience.

  • Specialize in derivatives for the sector
  • Analyze the most complex products held in the funds
  • Participate, under the leadership of the Senior Derivatives Analyst, in developing a plan to properly assess complex products
  • Provide specialised advice to all parties involved
  • Help open and integrate new funds (mutual or exchange-traded)
  • Effectively manage stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Train colleagues to ensure their own succession (be a mentor)
  • Anticipate problems and develop solutions to mitigate risks
  • Implement control mechanisms
  • Participate in the various large-scale projects in the sector

Investment Funds Administration and Tax activities you are part of a team of 19 colleagues and report to the Manager of the Rating & Evaluation team. Prérequis

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • CFA designation completed or in the process of being obtained
  • 3 to 6 years' experience in derivatives
  • Knowledge of mutual and exchange-traded funds
  • Knowledge of practices in the industry in terms of derivatives
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Leadership and discipline
  • Critical mindset focused on problem solving
