Playbook Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Surrey, BC, with regular outside sales/client visits. We're seeking someone with at least 1 year of Logistics/Transport experience who’s eager to grow within a collaborative, high-energy logistics environment. Please only apply if you live in the Greater Vancouver area.

Responsibilities

  • Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills — and help others do the same

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years' of experience in the Logistics/Transportation sector
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling, in-person client visits, and building new relationships
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must live in the Greater Vancouver area

Compensation & Benefits

  • 60,000 – $80,000 base salary, based on experience
  • Monthly commission/bonus structure
