Profil
Reporting to the Artistic Director, the TECHNICAL ARTIST will be responsible for creating tools that facilitate artistic production. You will innovate and solve technical art problems by developing tools used in the production of Outlast, with the goal of improving workflow processes. You will collaborate closely with the art direction, technical direction, other artists, and programmers. Start date is planned for August 2025.
Tasks and Missions
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficiency in creating and maintaining the artistic vision of the game.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain and ensure the integration of systems throughout production.
- Design tools and scripts to support development and production.
- Analyze artistic requirements and implement suitable technical solutions.
- Optimize visual elements balancing aesthetics and technical constraints.
Profile Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in a similar role
- Basic knowledge in programming and scripting
- Proficiency in Unreal and Blueprints
- Bilingual in French and English
- Ability to do shading for materials
