The incumbent of this position is responsible for managing technical resources and operational activities to ensure the stability, performance, standardization, and security of the company's IT infrastructure components. This role also involves delivering projects and initiatives effectively.
The person manages the development, integration, updates, support, optimization, and evolution of network, server, storage, cloud computing, security infrastructures, and related systems.
They are responsible for operational excellence in their sector, including personnel management, operational processes, project delivery, inventory management, and documentation of services and systems.
Additionally, they coordinate safety activities, obsolescence management, and continuous improvement efforts across their sector.
Job Description
Manage the company's IT operating activities (60%)
- Ensure the stability, capacity, performance, and security of IT infrastructures, including disaster recovery planning.
- Support the IT Manager and User Services in handling major incidents (P1 and P2), including application and security issues; contribute to problem management.
- Support infrastructure and operations-related incidents and service requests, ensuring high customer satisfaction and supervising IT Technical Assistance Center technicians.
- Manage major IT infrastructure deployments.
- Define and update operational goals and priorities.
- Oversee support cycles, contracts, budgets, and inventory related to IT infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain standards in collaboration with procurement, analyze new IT solutions, and manage tenders.
- Participate in IT service management processes like incident, problem, and request management.
- Plan and prioritize projects with the IT Manager, including training and documentation for team members.
- Act as the point of contact for user escalations and resolve requests efficiently.
- Hire, manage, and develop team members, fostering engagement and collaboration.
