AAA Canada is seeking a Configuration Management Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Document Control Service
  • Scanning and availability of engineering documents and drawings.
  • Managing release, storage, and archiving of all engineering data.
  • Scanning and publishing engineering data into the MAI system for online access.
  • Generating P / Ns and revisions in ERP / MRP systems like EBOM.
  • Controlling access to original design data, ensuring only authorized personnel have access after release.
  • Managing engineering change releases, including verification and distribution.
  • Notifying relevant parties of released changes.
  • Distributing documents and drawings internally and to customers.
  • Archiving obsolete documents for legal and knowledge preservation.
  • Updating specifications by consulting various sources.
  • Keeping drawings of mature designs current via Engineering Orders.

Configuration Control

  • Managing changes to configuration items.
  • Handling change requests, EO, ECO, NIEO.
  • Managing configuration identification documentation.
  • Creating and maintaining the Configuration Control Matrix and Technical Part List (TPL).
  • Participating in the Change Board.
  • Ensuring configuration control from contract award throughout the item's lifecycle.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum two years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in aeronautics is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel), and Catia V5.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or industrial role.
