Job Title : IT Audit Consultant

Are you CISA-certified and passionate about information systems auditing? Join a dynamic team in the heart of Montreal!

Mandate Objective

Conduct internal IT audits to assess and improve the effectiveness of general IT controls, IT governance, and regulatory compliance, based on ISACA standards, particularly the COBIT framework.

Details

Duration : Initial term of 3 to 6 months, with potential extension up to 18 months.
Availability : Full-time.
Location : Hybrid – Remote work with occasional on-site presence (downtown Montreal) required every 2 to 3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and perform IT audits using a risk-based approach.

Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, including access controls, change management, and business continuity.

Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX (52-109).

Document processes and procedures, identify control gaps, and provide recommendations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to follow up on implementation of recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

CISA certification (Certified Information Systems Auditor) from ISACA.

Strong knowledge of general IT controls and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001.

Experience in IT audit, preferably in regulated environments.

Understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly SOX (52-109).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a strong asset.
