Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional organisational skills, and a solid understanding of IT project management methodologies. The Senior IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, manage resources, mitigate risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale IT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential obstacles.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project meetings and effectively communicate project updates, progress, and risks to stakeholders and executive management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and resource utilisation to optimise project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate project performance and conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative project management culture, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
