What you can expect when joining the team

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations related to IT identity and access management for Petal employees. You will define and maintain up-to-date IT profiles for all business units at Petal, in coordination with team managers.

You will implement access controls, policies, and procedures related to identity and access management, ensuring the segregation of duties and access based on roles and profiles. Finally, you will actively participate in periodic access review exercises and ensure that identified discrepancies are addressed in the access and identity management processes and procedures.

This position requires a physical presence at our Montreal offices for a minimum of 3 times of week and up to 5 times a week.

Your daily life

In your day to day, you will be led to :

  • Provide on-site support to employees for their IT questions and requests (equipment and office software, access, etc.);
  • Handle incidents and service requests assigned to you and ensure they are documented in the ticketing system;
  • Specifically manage access requests and ensure their processing aligns with current IT systems access management policies and procedures;
  • Keep operational access management procedures up to date and support process orchestration teams in automating access requests;
  • Coordinate with Level 2-3 technicians for complex requests or incidents;
  • Track and receive orders and manage the local inventory of IT and office equipment;
  • For new employees, prepare office equipment, grant required access, and provide training on using office tools;
  • Support audit and internal compliance teams in collecting evidence for access requests and ensure timely communication;
  • Provide reports and statistics as needed by management;
  • Actively participate in transformation initiatives and projects.

Your profile

Do you have the skills to diagnose and resolve issues in a network environment? Are you customer service-oriented with strong abilities in learning, analysis, and synthesis? Would you describe yourself as patient, persistent, and flexible, with the ability to handle stressful situations effectively? The sky is the limit! If you have :

  • An AEC or DEC in computer science or the equivalent;
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
  • A good knowledge of operating systems (Mac and Windows);
  • Basic knowledge in networking, VOIP telephony, DNS, Active Directory;
  • Ability to work in the office on a regular basis (3 to 5 times a week);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (an asset);
  • Since you will be regularly interacting with English-speaking colleagues located outside of Québec, proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is required.
