Description du poste

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience along with extensive exposure to SAP environments, including hands-on work with FI (AP, AR, GL, Assets) and integration with key modules such as MM, SD, PP, HR, CO, and PS, along with proven proficiency in configuring and implementing SAP FI, CO, and PS, supported by SAP certification (FI, CO, or PS). This position requires to work on-site.

Responsabilités clés

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration points in a multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-country environment.
  • Lead a team responsible for translating business requirements into functional design documents for DT Finance related projects.
  • Design FI CO solution components and develop the corresponding SAP configuration transports.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to direct reports.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for projects involving FI CO solutions.
  • Analyze current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes, bridging gaps between digital technologies and business needs.
  • Design FI CO solution components and develop the corresponding SAP configuration transports.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert, anticipating trends and recommending best practices.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and other platforms.
  • Manage project schedules, prioritize resources, and support successful implementation.
  • Develop strategies to rapidly translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Contribute to defining functional requirements for system maintenance and enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the DT compliance team to address audit requests and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate functional and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
