Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Hybrid Power & Energy Systems IPT Head to lead the development and integration of hybrid power and energy systems for advanced aircraft platforms. This role requires strong expertise in hybrid-electric propulsion, energy systems, systems engineering, integration, testing, safety, and aerospace certification.

Responsabilités clés
- Lead the Hybrid Power & Energy Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) and align activities with overall aircraft program objectives.
- Own scope, schedule, cost, quality, and technical delivery for Hybrid Power & Energy Systems.
- Coordinate with Propulsion, Electrical Systems, Thermal Management, Flight Controls, Avionics, and other aircraft engineering teams.
- Act as the primary technical interface with customers, suppliers, leadership, and program stakeholders.
- Define hybrid-electric propulsion architectures, including battery systems, electric motors, generators, power electronics, and energy management systems.
- Perform system sizing, architecture trade studies, energy flow analysis, and efficiency optimization.
- Develop and manage System Requirement Documents (SRD), Interface Control Documents (ICD), and power distribution architectures.
- Lead integration of electrical propulsion, power distribution, energy storage, and thermal management systems.
- Ensure compatibility with aircraft electrical networks, flight controls, structural constraints, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
- Drive Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define and execute MIL, HIL, ground test, and flight test validation strategies.
- Validate system performance, energy efficiency, thermal behavior, reliability, and safety.
- Maintain complete requirements traceability from system definition through verification and validation.
- Lead certification activities in accordance with FAA, EASA, and DGCA requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-160.
- Support evolving certification requirements for electric and hybrid aircraft propulsion systems.
- Manage certification documentation, compliance reports, safety assessments, and test reports.
- Conduct FHA, FMEA, and FTA safety and reliability analyses.
- Ensure battery safety, thermal runaway mitigation, fault tolerance, redundancy, and robust energy management.
- Drive reliability-focused system design and technical risk mitigation.
- Identify and mitigate electrical, thermal, battery, high-voltage, and system integration risks.
- Support RFQs, proposals, effort estimation, technical solutioning, and technology roadmap development.
- Ensure adherence to configuration management and engineering change-control processes.
- Manage technical dependencies across multiple IPTs and distributed development teams.
Qualifications requises
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
