We are hiring for a RDJ Axway Support Engineer. The role focuses on supporting and optimizing an Axway RDJ financial accounting integration platform, including configurations, processing rules, and production workflows.
A strong fit will have hands-on Axway RDJ experience with advanced Linux shell scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, Pro*C, and banking financial data knowledge.

What you bring

  • Strong working knowledge of Axway RDJ architecture, rule configuration, transformation logic, and accounting hub administration.
  • Expert-level Linux shell scripting for automated data pipelines, file handling, and batch operations.
  • Advanced Oracle PL/SQL experience, including complex queries, packages, stored procedures, and debugging.
  • Foundational to intermediate Pro*C skills for troubleshooting, updating, and supporting embedded SQL C programs.
  • Strong understanding of banking data files including flat files, XML, and CSV containing financial accounting movements, debits, and credits.
  • Practical experience with data ingestion, translation schemas, and transformation rules within financial accounting integration layers.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, change control procedures, and Jira.
  • Understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet accounts, non-balancing account entries, and Chart of Accounts concepts.

What you'll do

  • Support the Axway RDJ financial accounting hub and maintain accounting translation rules and data integration maps.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with inbound and outbound banking files.
  • Identify and troubleshoot anomalies in non-balancing accounts.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain Linux shell scripts for file processing, scheduling, and error handling.
  • Optimize and debug backend processing components using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Maintain legacy batch code written in Pro*C.
  • Perform impact analysis for mapping updates and platform migrations.
  • Map transaction flows to standard GL lines and COA guidelines.
  • Provide effort estimates for development and unit testing cycles.
  • Execute unit and integration testing for interface configurations.
  • Create, submit, and track change requests following SDLC guidelines.
  • Maintain task tracking in Jira and provide daily progress updates.

Nice to have

  • Specialized knowledge of General Ledger systems, Balance Sheet accounts, non-balancing account entries, and Chart of Accounts frameworks.
