The Planning & Allocation Analyst (contract position) plays a critical role in supporting financial performance across the retail network by optimizing inventory levels, ensuring strategic product allocation, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making. This role collaborates closely with merchandising, marketing, and Store Operations teams to support sales, margin, sell‑through, and inventory productivity goals.

Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive, the analyst ensures the right product is available at the right time, in the right quantities, and in the right locations across all retail channels.

Responsabilités

  • Manage movement of merchandise Omni-channel (Retail store, E-Commerce...) including initial assortment, rebalance, event push & recalls.
  • Call back product for Marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with team on various projects such as assortments, Line reviews, and special project.
  • Analyze product performance by category, attribute, location, and sales channel.
  • Maintain recurring reporting dashboards to track KPIs such as sales, inventory, sell‑through, turn, and GMROI.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks; recommend actionable strategies for assortment, replenishment, and inventory flow.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has…

  • College or University degree in Business or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar role within Retail as a Merchandising/ Product Coordinator or Allocator. Wholesale experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Works well both in a team environment and independently
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • Bilingual: French and English (spoken/written).
  • Essbase, and Microsoft Power BI knowledge is an asset
