EBX / Master Data Management (MDM) Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled EBX / MDM Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise Master Data Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX, data quality, data governance processes, and match & merge techniques to ensure accurate, trusted, and standardized master data across business domains.

This is a critical role focused on delivering scalable MDM solutions that improve data consistency, quality, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain TIBCO EBX MDM solutions.
  
• Implement and manage master data models, workflows, and business rules within EBX.
  
• Develop and optimize match & merge strategies to identify, deduplicate, and consolidate master records.
  
• Implement data normalization, standardization, and data quality controls across multiple data domains.
  
• Configure validation rules, data stewardship workflows, and approval processes.
  
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and reconciliation activities.
  
• Develop custom EBX components using Java and related technologies.
  
• Integrate EBX with enterprise applications, databases, and external systems.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data governance teams, and solution architects to define MDM requirements.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
  
• Create technical design documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
  
• Contribute to MDM best practices, governance standards, and data quality initiatives.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX.
  
• Strong experience designing and implementing MDM solutions.
  
• Expertise in Match & Merge, survivorship rules, and deduplication techniques.
  
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data stewardship principles.
  
• Experience with data normalization, cleansing, standardization, and enrichment processes.
  
• Strong Java development skills.
  
• Experience developing workflows, business rules, and customizations within EBX.
  
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
  
• Experience integrating MDM platforms with enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
  
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and master data architecture.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Customer, Product, Vendor, or Reference Data domains.
  
• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks.
  
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Experience with ETL and data integration tools.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  
• MDM or Data Management certifications are considered an asset.
