Description du poste

The Company is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing Indigenous prosperity through partnerships with corporate entities. The organization is seeking an Executive Director to lead its next phase of growth, deepening partnerships and guiding the implementation of its innovative model for economic reconciliation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and public leadership, ensuring the organization remains grounded in Indigenous values, and overseeing the development of its programming pillars.

This role involves building and managing a team, strengthening systems for impact measurement, and leading revenue development. The ideal Executive Director will be a purpose-driven, entrepreneurial leader with a strong understanding of Indigenous governance and community priorities, and a proven track record in nonprofit or mission-driven environments.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be exceptional relationship builders and communicators, with a focus on integrity, humility, and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.

Experience in generating revenue through various funding relationships is essential. The role requires a leader who is comfortable in an early-stage environment, combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, and who can translate the organization's vision into practical results.

The company strongly encourages applications from candidates with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit backgrounds, as well as those with long-standing, trusted relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.

The position is remote, full-time, and may involve travel to major Canadian cities and Indigenous communities.
