Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote
Join a high-profile assignment focused on meaningful indigenous community engagement through digital communications. This role supports social media planning, content creation, publishing, engagement monitoring, website updates, and platform-specific storytelling across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The position is well suited to someone comfortable working independently in a remote environment while supporting culturally respectful and inclusive communications.
Exigences
Must Haves
- 3–5 years managing social media accounts for organizations, communities, or campaigns
- Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and X platform management
- CMS website content updates and page maintenance
- English written communication in remote or flexible work environments
- Post-secondary education not specified
Nice to Have
- Short-form video or visual content creation
- Graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, or Indigenous-focused social media channels
- French language skills
- Indigenous cultural knowledge, lived experience, or community connection
Responsabilités
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages as appropriate
- Support website updates and maintain content accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with communications goals
- Adapt content for different audiences and digital platforms
- Track performance metrics and identify resonating content
- Ensure content remains culturally respectful, inclusive, and aligned with organizational guidelines
