The Room Division Supervisor takes a dynamic approach to ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, breakfast service, and banquet activities. Excelling at handling challenging situations and responding quickly to unexpected events, they consistently maintain an outstanding level of service and ensure that every team member upholds the same high standards.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk, laundry, housekeeping, and banquet services.
  • Plan arrivals, including returning guests and VIPs, to ensure they enjoy a personalized stay.
  • Coordinate daily accommodation operations, liaise with other departments including individual and group reservations, and ensure that our high service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Support team members in the performance of their duties and contribute to their professional development.
  • Maintain a regular presence in service areas to ensure that our commitment to aesthetics is reflected throughout the property and that all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations are respected.
  • Communicate continuously with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest service activities, including inventory management during peak periods.
  • Serve as a resource person for the team in handling guest complaints, promoting service excellence, and responding to emergency or crisis situations.

Ce que vous apporterez

  • Diploma in Hotel Management, an asset
  • Minimum 2 years' management or supervisory experience in a hotel context
  • Leader capable of inspiring, motivating and mobilizing teams
  • Ability to put yourself in the guest's shoes and understand their feelings and concerns
  • Quick and effective management of requests and problems
  • Tolerance of unhappy or stressed guests
  • Strong computer knowledge - experience with OPERA PMS, an asset
