Description du poste

  • Set goals and exceed expectations: Work with sales leadership to establish clear and measurable sales objectives, breaking them down into monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Build a high-performing client pipeline: Proactively develop a strong pipeline of opportunities in your territory, maintaining positive momentum every day.
  • Prospect and make connections: Use your persuasion skills daily to contact potential clients through cold calls, referrals, and relationship-building. Follow up quickly with all prospects, ensuring that no lead is overlooked.
  • Client meetings: Meet with prospective clients, clearly present services, and gather the essential information required to prepare customized proposals.
  • Manage RFPs and presentations: Lead proposals and formal presentations, especially for high-potential prospects, to communicate the unique value of your offering.
  • Collaborate for success: Work with the Business Compliance, Operations, and Client Partnership teams to ensure an optimal client experience.
  • Close sales: Present clients with detailed, compelling proposals that include pricing, services, and additional company information, customizing them as needed to exceed expectations.
  • Train and develop: Participate in sales training and special projects, working closely with sales leadership and the RFP department.
    Stay organized: Prepare regular sales reports and maintain rigorous activity tracking, ensuring accurate reporting and effective time management.

Experience

7+ years of sales experience in customs brokerage or a related sector.

Qualifications

  • Drive and determination: Goal-oriented mindset and a passion for closing business.
  • Excellent communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professionalism during negotiations.
  • Technology proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce.
  • Time management: Exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage prospects, client meetings, and proposal preparation.
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s licence and passport, with the ability to travel without restriction in the United States and Canada.

Education

Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in sales, marketing, or business administration
