POSITION OVERVIEW
As an HR Coordinator at BDC, the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of HR programs and in-person activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the coordination of HR program initiatives end-to-end, including administrative support, reviewing communications, and aligning stakeholders to enable seamless execution. You will ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of both in-person and virtual sessions while contributing to a positive and seamless employee experience. Your work supports the development of employees and, ultimately, the growth of Canadian businesses.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Training & Event Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions (rooms, catering, materials, equipment)
- Manage participant lists, invitations, and communications
- Support facilitators and ensure sessions run smoothly
- Maintain training calendars and schedules
Program Administration & Support
- Support the delivery of learning and leadership programs
- Prepare and maintain documentation (guides, templates, communications)
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to inquiries
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between teams, facilitators, vendors, and participants
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
Logistics & Problem Solving
- Anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure a seamless participant experience
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Skills
- Relevant experience in HR coordination, event coordination, or training administration
- Experience with Workday is a very strong asset
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Bilingualism is required
