Description du poste
Our client, a leader in the distribution of industrial fluid handling products, is looking for a Service Technician for its South Shore branch. You will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, maintenance and installation of industrial painting, coating, and lubrication equipment.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment;
- Disassemble, inspect, and repair low and high-pressure pumps, airless sprayers, industrial coating systems, powder coating equipment, valves, compressors and other related equipment;
- Identify and order parts required for repairs;
- Install, commission, and start up new equipment;
- Perform on-site service calls using the company's service vehicle;
- Prepare repair estimates, complete service reports, and maintain customer relationships;
- Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and ensure the workshop is organized;
- Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed;
- Support the sales team with technical and engineering-related tasks when required.
Exigences
- DEP in Industrial Maintenance or related field;
- 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including low- and high-pressure pumps, industrial painting equipment, or lubrication systems;
- Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical diagnostics;
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite, able to consult technical documentation using computerized database systems;
- Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs;
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record;
- Valid passport and available to travel to the US for training;
- French, English (training in US).
