What you'll be responsible for :
- Planning and organizing the driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
- Assigning routes to drivers (custom software)
- Answering internal customer calls efficiently, courteously, and professionally
- Entering information into the computer system to document calls and perform appropriate follow-ups
- Being the point of contact for drivers regarding their working hours and resolve issues as needed
- Being able to weigh trucks on our scales and integrate them into our system
- Processing customs paperwork requests (for U.S. drivers)
- Maintaining and monitoring inventory in our supply yards on a daily basis
- Performing any other related tasks
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- You are capable of handling complex problems to find the best solutions
- You have strong analytical skills
- You have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Maine
- You are available outside of regular working hours to handle driver emergencies
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software (Samsara)
- You are bilingual in spoken and written communication (an asset)
