Language Requirements
Language Requirements: Bilingual (English and French), in accordance with Civil Aviation Regulations and or Official Languages requirements in order to either provide services to clients, the Public and or, to supervise and provide services to employees in the official language of their choice.
In this role you will:
- Lead and manage air navigation services and operations within assigned site(s).
- Promote a strong culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor site performance and implement corrective actions and operational improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support safety investigations, service enhancements, and new technologies.
- Manage site health, safety, security, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Plan and manage financial, material, and human resources.
- Build positive relationships with employees, customers, unions, and stakeholders.
- Coach, support, and develop a team of represented professionals.
What you bring:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Holds or has held an ATS licence/certificate, or equivalent operational knowledge through leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience leading diverse and/or geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, and related financial processes.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management, Canadian Aviation Regulations, and operational procedures.
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and practices (collective agreements, team effectiveness, etc.).

Working Conditions:
- Regular travel within the FIR to ensure visibility and support at assigned sites. Additional ad-hoc travel may also be required.
- NAV CANADA operates in a 24/7 environment; business needs will require occasional standby support outside of regular business hours.
- This position is subject to top secret security clearance checks.
Flexible work arrangements:
- This position is on site and not eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
