Job Description

In collaboration with the Manager, Ancillary Revenues, the incumbent contributes to the maximization of ancillary revenues, a key driver of organizational performance. The individual analyzes the performance of existing products, identifies growth opportunities, and actively participates in the development, pricing, and evolution of fare families.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement initiatives aimed at maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Optimize existing ancillary products (seat selection, baggage, onboard sales, upgrades, etc.).
  • Analyze sales performance and recommend short- and long-term improvement strategies.
  • Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities and new products.
  • Lead and optimize the buy-up strategy across different fare families.
  • Enhance the structure of fare families to strengthen their value proposition and improve conversion.
  • Develop, track, and interpret performance indicators related to ancillary revenues.
  • Use analytical tools and models to support dynamic pricing and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Act as an ambassador for ancillary revenues within the organization and communicate results to internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with pricing and revenue management teams to ensure alignment of strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (finance, economics, analytics, or equivalent).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in revenue management or pricing within the airline industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify, understand, and solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of modeling, artificial intelligence, or machine learning (an asset).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain analyses to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and synthesis abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI (, Copilot).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English *

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
