PMO Manager
Location : Montreal, Canada - Hybrid ( 3 days)
Présentation du rôle
- We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to establish, lead, and optimize Project Management Office (PMO) practices across a portfolio of enterprise initiatives.
- This role will focus on governance, portfolio visibility, delivery standardization, and executive reporting to ensure projects are aligned with organizational strategy and delivered efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise-level project portfolios, driving process improvements, and partnering with senior leadership to enhance delivery maturity.
Qualifications requises
- 5+ years in a PMO leadership or governance role
- Strong experience managing enterprise portfolios and cross-functional programs
- Proven ability to create and implement PMO frameworks and delivery standards
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience with financial tracking, budgeting, and portfolio reporting
Qualifications préférées
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
- Experience building or scaling a PMO from the ground up
- Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise IT initiatives
- Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments
Responsabilités clés
- Lead and manage the centralized PMO function across multiple projects and programs
- Define and enforce project governance frameworks, standards, templates, and best practices
- Oversee portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and reporting
- Implement structured project intake, resource allocation, and demand management processes
- Monitor project health, risks, issues, dependencies, and financial performance
- Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership review
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and active project initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Standardize tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive updates
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking at portfolio level
- Mentor and guide project managers to improve delivery performance
