Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: Longueuil, QC , Canada
Duration: 8 Months on w2 (Possible Extension)
Note: Interviews will be onsite.

Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Repair Technician / Production Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.
This role focuses on analyzing product failures, repairing electronic components, and ensuring high-quality standards.
You will play a key role in identifying issues in returned products and ensuring they are fixed correctly to prevent future failures.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and troubleshoot customer-returned units (RMA)
Perform functionality testing using test equipment
Repair and rework PCBs (SMD & through-hole soldering)
Diagnose failures and perform component-level repairs
Maintain accurate records in quality systems
Follow SOPs, ESD protocols, and work instructions
Use tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate findings with technical and non-technical teams

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in electronics repair, manufacturing, or testing
Strong experience with PCB soldering and rework (SMD & through-hole)
Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting
Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and technical documents
Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Fluent in French and English (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications:
IPC-7711/7721 or IPC-A-610 knowledge
Experience with battery systems or electromechanical assemblies
Background in consumer electronics, EV, or mobility hardware
Familiarity with Jira or ticketing systems
Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
