We are seeking a UX/UI Design Intern to support ourdriverapp and contribute to the evolution of our design system. This is an exciting opportunity towork on real digital products used daily across Canada and to develop your visual design and UI skills in a fast-moving tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributeto theevolutionof thedriverapp byimprovingexistinguser flows andproposingenhancedUIelements,visuals, andreusablecomponents.

• Support theteaminelevatingtheoveralllook andfeelof the appthroughthoughtfulvisualand interaction design.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of theIntelcomdesign system, including the creation, refinement, and documentation of components, patterns, and visual guidelines.

• Collaboratecloselywithdesigners anddeveloperstoensureasmoothtransitionfromdesign concepts to production.

• Participatein designreviews,providefeedback, anditeratebasedontechnicalconstraintsand userneeds.

• Helpstrengthenvisualdesignfoundationssuchascolor,spacing,typography,iconography, andlayoutprinciples.

• Stayup to datewithUI trends,tools, and best practices to supportcontinuousinnovation in theproductexperience.

• Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Visual Experience Design, Computer Science, or a design-relatedprogram.

• Strongvisualdesignskills,includinglayout,color,typography, composition, andiconography.

• Proficiencyin Figma, including auto-layout, components, and variants.

• Basicunderstandingof UXprinciplesand theabilitytoapplythemto user flows and UI components.

• Curious, collaborative,detail-oriented, andmotivatedtocontributeideasthatshapereal-world digitalproducts.

• Familiaritywithdesignsystems,prototypingand motiontools,interestinproductdesign atscale, and passion for accessible, user-focusedexperiences,isan asset.
