Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager, Accounting & Reporting to join our team supporting the Technology and Lab group. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving financial integrity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the finance function. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking professional who embraces technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and leads with a solutions-first mindset. They will serve as a trusted partner to both the finance team and cross-functional peers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.

This position is a temporary position for 18-months with flexibility.
What you’ll do:
Responsabilités
Lead and manage the full month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements and compliance with internal policies.
Coordinate with accounting team members to meet close deadlines and resolve outstanding items proactively.
Prepare, review, and deliver accurate and insightful financial reports to senior leadership and all stakeholders.
Lead and support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial presentations and providing clear and actionable explanations to management.
Design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Champion the adoption and effective use of financial systems, tools, and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement technology solutions that support finance operations.
Support the professional development of team members through feedback, training, and stretch assignments.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with peers across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and other business units.
Act as a solutions-oriented partner — approaching challenges with a focus on resolution, innovation, and constructive dialogue.
Ce que vous apporterez
CPA - is required
Minimum 5-years of progressive experience in finance or accounting – is required
Minimum 2-years leading and managing a team
Strong proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset.
Solid understanding of IFRS, internal controls frameworks, and financial reporting standards.
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and systems implementation.
Approaches every challenge as an opportunity — identifies root causes and drives practical, effective resolutions.
Excellent Communicator: Articulates ideas clearly and confidently in written and verbal formats; actively listens and adapts communication style to the audience.
Detail-Oriented: Maintains a high standard of accuracy and thoroughness in all deliverables.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
