Contexte du poste
Position Purpose
A Graphic Designer II produces and develop design solutions with high visual impact including, signage, presentation design, logos, brand identity, etc. They create original designs as well as understanding how to interpret and work within client brand guidelines. They are able to take art direction, understand creative briefs and work collaboratively within a team. A graphic designer can take initiative, multi-task, and work graciously in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines. This creative can quickly understand client brands and make custom decks that align with brand guidelines. They also create and maintain TAIT branded decks for RFPs and PD pitch decks using TAIT guidelines.
Responsabilités
This role requires a keen design eye & knowing the appropriate tools, media and style to meet established objectives. A graphic designer can take initiative, multi-task, and work graciously in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines to deliver quality deliverables within schedule and budget parameters.
Design Exécution & Livraison
- Produce high-quality visual design solutions across multiple formats (print, digital, presentation, environmental or experiential graphics as applicable).
- Translate creative briefs and strategic objectives into clear, compelling visual outputs.
- Apply established brand guidelines consistently while creating original, on-brand design solutions.
- Execute designs independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Compétences Créatives & Techniques
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of design principles, typography, layout, colour, and composition.
- Use industry-standard design tools effectively (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software).
- Prepare design files for production, including print-ready and presentation-ready outputs, following technical specifications.
- Develop design documentation or scaled assets where required.
Collaboration & Direction Artistique
- Work collaboratively with designers, creatives, and cross-functional partners.
- Take and implement art direction and feedback constructively and efficiently.
- Contribute ideas and creative input during reviews, brainstorms, and design critiques.

- Manage multiple design tasks or projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing requests.
- Communicate progress, risks, and timing clearly to project stakeholders.

- Quickly build an understanding of client or internal brand identities.
- Customize design outputs to align with different brand voices, audiences, and objectives.
- Support the creation and maintenance of branded templates, decks, and reusable assets.

Exigences du poste
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental graphic design, architecture or related design discipline; or College/CEGEP diploma with 3 years professional experience.
- 2-4 years of additional relevant graphic and environmental design experience required.
- Intermediate fluency in Mandarin is required for this role.
