Our Montreal Client’s team is growing. They have a very long term contract open for an Engineer experienced with Designing, Maintaining and Operating software applications.

Duration: Very Long term contract

Responsabilités générales

• Design, maintenance and operation of software applications for both local department and for large Global projects
• Support and development of both local and global corporate procedures and processes
• Managing the projects such that they are completed within budget and schedule
• Supporting engine testing involving both production and development type engines
• Proper overall function and maintenance of the assigned equipment and systems
• Responsible for high reliability and maintainability of existing and new systems
• Maintaining test data and application integrity and availability
• Responsible for updating documentation
• Organizing and supporting collaborative types of design review sessions

Exigences générales

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, either Computer and/or Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of work experience with Application Development
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) an asset
• The following experience required: VCS (GIT preferably) Mainstream DBMS required Coding Languages (Python, C, C#) Python Web Framework (Django or Flask) Frontend development (HTML,CSS,JS,JQUERY)
• The following are definite assets: Frontend Templating (for example Jinja) Experience with Code Reviews Experience in Unit Testing
• Good understanding of IT Systems – networks, servers and virtualization
• Knowledge of process development
• Team player
• Bilingual (English and French)
