Title: Operations Manager

Disease detection through smell? That's right. With every breath, we release a health snapshot right into the air. This is the body's hidden language, and up until now, it's gone unnoticed. We're changing that. Inspired by nature and with a boost from NASA, we've developed the world's first fully-integrated diagnostic breathalyzer. It's capable of decoding these health signals in real-time and at any point-of-care. We're bringing the sense of smell to the forefront of medicine and welcoming a new era of healthcare

Are you passionate about unlocking a new era of healthcare? Do you thrive in thinking big, embracing innovation, and pushing boundaries? Are you driven to consistently exceed expectations and deliver extraordinary results? If so, this role could be your perfect fit.

What You Will Do

1. Operational Infrastructure & Facilities

  • Office management: Manage office supplies, pantry restocking, and grocery orders. Oversee office policies including office access, security, internet connectivity, IT inventory and any other activities required to ensure the office runs smoothly.
  • Workflow Optimization: Develop and enforce company-wide SOPs to streamline daily operations
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all service providers.

2. Employee Experience & People Ops

  • Logistics of Culture: Partner with leadership to execute high-impact culture initiatives, including quarterly socials, All-Hands meetings, and team-building offsites.
  • Talent Logistics: Manage the physical and digital logistics of the employee lifecycle, ensuring new hires have a seamless "Day 1" and offboarding is handled professionally.
  • Executive Support: Assist leadership with ad-hoc administrative and operational projects that require a high level of discretion and organization.

3. Lab Management & Quality

  • Lab Operations: Ensure the laboratory is "audit-ready" at all times. Manage the day-to-day flow of the lab to ensure our team has what they need to work without interruption.
  • Equipment Lifecycle: Schedule calibrations, manage repairs, and maintain service records for all scientific instrumentation.
  • Safety & EH&S: Lead our Environmental Health and Safety efforts. Ensure compliance with local regulations, manage hazardous waste disposal, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • QMS: Support our QMS (Quality Management System) process.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in Operations Management, preferably in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
  • Domain Expertise: Direct experience managing a laboratory environment or working closely with R&D teams is highly preferred.
  • Process Obsessed: Proven ability to build systems from scratch
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical needs into business operational requirements.
