The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and health care research center. Based in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), affiliated with McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The Chronic Viral Illness Service is part of the MUHC. The CVIS team has an active research program, conducting numerous observational studies and clinical trials each year to provide innovative research to their patients.
Under the immediate supervision of one of the clinical researchers, the incumbent will be involved in study conduct of cohort studies aiming to improve primary care and reduce the consequences of viral diseases in different populations.
Tâches générales
- Recruiting, consenting, and interviewing study participants in person or by videoconference (Zoom, Teams), or phone,
- Assisting with administrative tasks, meetings, and organizing knowledge transfer activities,
- Drafting and reviewing study documents,
- Other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Éducation / Expérience
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Science, healthcare or other related field
Other education considered an asset for this position: Medical students currently registered in a medicine program in Québec are also eligible
Work Experience: No experience required
Compétences requises
- Advanced knowledge of oral French is required.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English. The position also requires complex writing or in-depth analysis of documents in English related to a research project.

- Willingness to travel regularly in regions,
- Strong skills using digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Experience in clinical research
- Graphic design or website management skills
