The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Résumé du poste

The HR Summer Worker will be responsible for managing the Canada Summer Jobs program (submitting information on the government portal according to project deadlines and requirements, effectively tracking each project, validating documents, and communicating with researchers, employees, etc.) in addition to supporting some daily activities of the HR Service Centre.

Principales responsabilités

  • Coordinate and manage the Canada Summer Jobs governmental grant program (including submitting information on the Government portal in compliance with project deadlines and requirements, efficiently tracking each project, validating documents, and communicating with researchers, employees, etc.),
  • Support the HR Service Centre (employee file management, work attestations, etc.),
  • Creates and maintains the electronic employee file.,
  • Help manage volunteers and their access requests,
  • Responsible for annual work permit validation and professional membership verification,
  • Assist with the review and validation of HR reports and help identify discrepancies related to employee benefits and records.
  • Assist with basic review and updates in HR worksheets and tracking tools.
  • Additional tasks may be added based on the context.

Formation / Expérience

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of study: Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration or Commerce (student in Bachelor's degree).

Work experience: No

Compétences requises

  • Advanced knowledge of oral and written French is required,
  • An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English,
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal relations, and teamwork,
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment,
  • Excellent customer service,
  • Dynamism, versatility, and autonomy,
  • Excellent time and priority management,
  • Professionalism and attention to detail.
