Location: hybrid
Reporting to theManager, Change Management Chapter, theChange Management Consultantprovides change management support across multiple initiatives within Canadian Operations. This results-oriented professional develops and executes integrated change strategies and plans, including stakeholder impact assessments and key change deliverables, to support business readiness, adoption, and reinforcement. Initiatives may include cultural transformations, process and role changes, and system or technology changes thatimpactpeople.
What will you do?
Working closely with project teams, you will:
Create and execute change management strategies and integrated change plans
Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and risk assessments, and identify and escalate change management risks to project teams and Sponsors
Anticipate and manage resistance as a core component of change planning
Act as a change management consultant, providing ongoing advice and counsel to Sponsors, project teams, and internal partners
Execute change activities across key levers, including: stakeholder engagement, communications planning and development, change impact analysis, alignment with training, coaching, and knowledge management, people readiness and adoption activities, and resistance management
Engage and support people leaders through the change
Integrate change activities into overall program and project plans in partnership with Program and Project Managers
Assess business and operational readiness from a people perspective
Define, track, and evaluate success metrics and change effectiveness, adapting tactics based on feedback
Create and deliver change communications (written materials, speaking notes, presentations, videos, etc.) and translate complex or technical information into clear messaging for diverse audiences using appropriate channels
Leverage collaboration and delivery tools (e.g., Microsoft tools, Miro, Excel, PowerPoint) and communicate change status and deliverables to project stakeholders
Contribute to building and sustaining a strong change management culture through upskilling and promotion of change resources
What do you need to succeed?
Experience leading or supporting change or transformation initiatives
Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading, to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences at all levels
Strong influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to advise and partner with leaders and project teams
Strong judgment and ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results
Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
University education in a related field (communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, etc.)
Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) is an asset
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide. The position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec.
