As a Financial Services Consultant, you will build trusted relationships with members of our group plans, providing guidance and advice to help them make informed financial decisions and progress toward their financial goals. You will deliver personalized financial advice and solutions across retirement, investments, and insurance, while consistently providing exceptional client experiences.
Proactively call existing Sun Life clients that have a Group Choices plan and establish a relationship where the objective is to educate and advise clients on their products, investments, while assisting with asset consolidation and client loyalty.
Provide investment advice to clients, through consultation related to their financial needs, including savings, and retirement income.
Partner with client to be ‘retirement ready’ through the use of financial planning tools.
Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives
Keep abreast of product changes, understand new products that come to market, keep a pulse on industry changes and competitor products.
This role does NOT require any prospecting of new clients or cold calling. You will be interacting with existing clients of Sun Life.
Exigences
Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (PQAP)
Qualifications

A passion for building relationships and creating amazing client experiences
Experience with selling and supporting clients with investment, savings products
Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone or video conferencing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong listening skills and the ability to probe by asking questions to understand needs
Self motivated and can work independently
Minimum of 1-3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry
Experience selling wealth products over the phone
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.

Canadian Investment Fund Course (IFIC)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial Planner designation (IQPF)
Completion of a college or university degree is an asset
