Job Description
Job Description Level 4 Experienced (mid-level to senior level) who can efficiently manage Python scripting, Java and ideally having worked with REST API’s.
The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in writing code, scripting, integration workflow automation, data synchronization between Jira and Rally via API integration.
This role requires problem-solving skills, and automation expertise.Primary Responsibilities :
- Automate / Configure workflows and data synchronization jobs between Rally and Jira.
- Develop scripts to extract data across various IT systems (PPM+, ServiceNow) and generate reports as needed
- Ensure uptime of IT systems including performance, reliability, and scalability of Rally product
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to integration between Rally and Jira.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to onboard business squads / Fleets to RallyRequired Skills & Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience with code development (Preferably in Python, Java and JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to interact with them programmatically.
- API integration between any IT Systems where API are available
- Experience in working with JSON and other data formats for API communication.
- Experience working in Tomcat / Postgres database environment.
- SDLC is a must, DevOps a plus
- Ability to manage code via Version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving and code debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with Rally and Jira APIs for data synchronization and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working with Agile teams in Atlassian JIRA
- Knowledge of Groovy a plus
- Knowledge of ConnectALL (Broadcom) a plus
