Job Description

  • Build and manage global strategic supplier relationships (commercial and contractual).

  • Develop new supply sources and strategic partnerships.

  • Define and execute negotiation strategies.

  • Lead commodity development projects, including business case preparation.

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies; report progress to senior management.

  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities.

  • Build and maintain internal and external networks.

  • Serve as the primary interface for suppliers on new business.

  • Support sites and business units with sourcing strategies.

  • Lead supplier claim negotiations related to production issues.

  • Support business units in enforcing contractual remedies.

  • Lead supplier contract negotiations.

  • Ensure contracts comply with business requirements.

  • Support supply chain teams with negotiations, agreements, and contract amendments.

  • Govern cost reduction initiatives to ensure successful execution.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or program management in a commercial role is an asset.

  • Strong negotiation and project management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to deadlines.

  • Recognized team player with leadership and innovation skills.

  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).

  • Strong operations and financial management capabilities.

  • Comfortable with technical topics and contract interpretation.

  • Knowledge of JIT logistics, integrated supply chains, and lean manufacturing.

  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
