We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our client, a leading cold chain packaging solutions company!

Compensation: 80-100k base salary + commission

Responsabilités

  • Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities in target industries and markets
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, research, and outreach
  • Develop tailored proposals and solutions that address customer challenges and align with product offerings
  • Manage acquired accounts and build long-term relationships
  • Work with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
  • Provide market feedback to support product development, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands
  • Understand the regulatory and logistical complexities of temperature-controlled packaging and cold chain solutions
  • Educate clients on product offerings, demonstrating value and competitive advantages
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights
  • All other related tasks

Exigences

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within relevant industries (e.g., cold chain logistics, packaging, life sciences)
  • Proven track record of successful business development in industries such as packaging supplies for pharmaceutical/laboratory companies, pharmaceutical 3PL sales, and meal kit companies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop tailored client solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities
