Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our growing AI team!
What you'll do here:
Lead/participate in business requirements workshops to define IT solutions.
Work closely with the product manager/stakeholders to realize the product vision.
Conduct impact analyses and effort estimates to recommend, secure approval for, and then document the IT solution using effective methods, interacting with both business-domain users and the IT project team.
Support the development of solutions and the technical analyses performed.
Support quality assurance activities and acceptance testing.
Support the product manager in defining and prioritizing the product backlog.
Document user stories in a way that they are clearly understood by developers and the QA team.
Build and maintain functional documentation that is robust, accurate, and accessible to all company stakeholders.
Play a key communications role, acting as a bridge between external stakeholders (architects, business analysts, infrastructure, etc.) and the team.
Work with the Scrum Master to ensure cohesion in the team process.
Follow end-to-end data access request processes.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or equivalent.
At least 8 years of relevant experience as a functional analyst.
Strong technical understanding of the development lifecycle (MLOps, UI, backend APIs, etc.).
Relevant experience in artificial intelligence projects.
Comfortable working in complex environments and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of an Agile framework or methodology (Scrum, Kanban).
Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
