RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
We are seeking a candidate for a Junior Assistant position within the Neurodevelopment and Resilience lab at the Neuro to assist in projects related to Autism and Neurodevelopmental conditions.
General Duties
- Conduct research into lists and other data repositories for projects, as well as into documented material for various projects.
- Assist in completing literature reviews as needed.
- Assist in processing data and reports as required.
- Contribute to the coordination of research activities supported by/partnering with the lab.
- Assist in the maintenance of records and files for the lab’s research activities.
- Perform specific editing and reviewing of documents as required.
- Perform basic word processing functions such as document formatting, labeling, spellcheck, mail merge, drafting letters from template.
- Perform other administrative/clerical tasks as required to support the research team.

Education / Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Psychology or related field
Work Experience: 0 to 6 months.
Required Skills
- Excellent French and English, spoken and written.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.
