A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics
Responsibilities
- Own, plan and execute Intelcom | Dragonfly’s global events strategy, in collaboration with the marketing team and various internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a centralised repository of information relating to all conferences and events (schedule, participants, reach, speaking/activation opportunities, etc.).
- Ensure alignment with marketing and sales to confirm that objectives for each event are clearly defined and that set goals are achieved.
- Develop and lead pre-event briefings between sales, marketing, communications and attendees, acting as a main point of contact.
- In collaboration with design specialists, manage the design and production of material related to events (booths, presentation materials, promotional merchandise, and marketing materials).
- Work with a marketing coordinator to manage vendors, materials, logistics, and storage of materials.
- Collaborate with our Communications team to develop pre-show materials (documents, social media, awareness emails, etc.).
- Establish a clear process and manage registration, travel arrangements, and accommodations for staff attending events.
- Implement metrics to measure event success and ROI.
- Collect and analyze feedback to improve future events.
- Conduct and communicate post-event analyses.
- Maintain an inventory of materials and ensure they are in good condition.
- Lead the creation and deployment of internal and client events, as required.
Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a similar field (or any other relevant experience and degree combination).
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience of more than 2 years in a B2B environment is an asset.
- Experience in coordinating trade shows held internationally is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to withstand pressure and manage unexpected challenges with composure and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with various stakeholders inside and outside the company.
- Strong project management skills.
- As this position supports events both nationally and internationally, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French are required.
