Job Purpose
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Delivery: Own the analysis strategy and roadmap for electric motors and inverters, covering structural integrity, durability, and thermal management, across operating envelopes and duty cycles.
- Lead multi-physics modeling development and continuous improvement using FEA (steady state and transient), CFD, and thermal analyses.
- Oversee creation and approval of analysis standards, including methodologies, model fidelity, acceptance criteria per phase (concept, prototype, DV, PV); establish model correlation plans to test data.
- Review and sign off analysis deliverables (customer program roadmaps, analysis costs, reports, models, assumptions, and risk registers); ensure traceability to requirements and compliance standards, ensure tracking and updating of KPIs.
- Define test to analysis correlation plans; drive root cause investigations when targets are missed.
