Reporting to: Director, Communications & Social Media
Position Summary
The Social Media/Creative Manager plays a key role in shaping, scaling, and amplifying the brand’s voice across social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging channels.
This role leads the social media/creative team (Social Media Coordinator, Content Project Specialist, Videographer/Editor, and Photographer) and is responsible for developing and executing a high-performing content strategy that drives engagement, growth, and brand affinity.
The ideal candidate is both creatively driven and data-informed—deeply immersed in social culture, confident in strategy, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end social media content strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brand content.
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, E-commerce, PR, and Influencer teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent messaging.
- Oversee daily content production workflows and timelines.
- Manage and mentor the social media/creative team, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and creative excellence.
- Provide direction and feedback on content concepts, execution, and performance.
- Foster a collaborative, fast-paced, and creative team environment.
Community Management & Brand Engagement
- Oversee daily community engagement across platforms, ensuring timely and brand-appropriate responses.
- Monitor sentiment, conversations, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
- Identify opportunities to deepen community connection through storytelling, interactive formats, giveaways, and campaigns.
- Act as a key brand ambassador in public-facing digital spaces.
Trend Monitoring & Creative Ideation
- Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, formats, and audio to keep the brand culturally relevant.
- Proactively pitch innovative content ideas, campaigns, and creator collaborations.
- Translate trends into content that feels authentic, strategic, and aligned with brand values.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics including reach, engagement, growth, CTR, and video performance.
- Use insights to continuously optimize content strategy and improve results.
- Partner with the Paid Media team to identify and amplify top-performing content when appropriate.
Brand Voice, Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social platforms.
- Act as the first line of response for sensitive comments, negative feedback, or potential PR risks on social media.
- Ensure all content complies with legal, privacy, and brand safety guidelines.
