Job Description – Voici une possibilité de carrière intéressante et enrichissante pour un analyste financier dont le rôle sera de soutenir l'unité d'affaires de GMA. Sous l'autorité directe de l'équipe des finances de l'unité d'affaires de GMA, vous devrez principalement collaborer avec vos collègues chargés des finances et du leadership opérationnel afin de fournir un soutien comptable et financier exact, rapide et de qualité. We have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support the GMA business unit. Reporting directly into the BU Controllership group, you will be primarily responsible for collaborating with business unit leadership and finance colleagues to deliver accurate, timely and highly valued accounting and financial support.

Your future duties and responsibilities / Responsabilités futures

• Analytical support of the budgeting and forecast process, delivering well supported and documented financial plans;

• Working closely with business unit partners to understand their business, help them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions;

• Delivering accurate, insightful and timely analysis of financial results compared against forecasts and budgets as well as presenting these to business unit stakeholders;

  Préparer mensuellement les résultats financiers et les présenter aux partenaires des unités d'affaires en expliquant les variances avec le budget et les prévisions financières;

• Managing project and client financials according to contract; understanding key terms in contracts, financial implications of changes in those terms and the technical accounting impact of contracts;

  Assurer la gestion des aspects financiers pour les projets et les clients conformément au contrat; comprendre les principales modalités contractuelles, les implications financières des modifications qui leur sont apportées et l'incidence des contrats sur la comptabilité;

• Propose improvements to the supporting analyses in order to improve accuracy and efficiency;

  Proposer des améliorations des analyses de soutien afin d'améliorer la précision et l'efficacité;

• Analysis of Balance sheet entries ensuring balance sheet integrity;

  Analyser les données du bilan en assurant l'intégrité de celui-ci;

• Manage special requests and collaborate on in-house projects.

Qualifications / Qualifications requises

• Post-secondary education and an accounting designation (CPA); / Études postsecondaires et titre professionnel comptable (CPA);
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience, ideally in a business partnership role; / Minimum 2-3 ans d'expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans un rôle de partenaire d'affaires;
• Bilingual, English and French; / Bilingue, anglais et français;
• Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate to non-finance stakeholders; / Compétences analytiques reconnues et capacité à communiquer avec les partenaires ne faisant pas partie du milieu financier;
• A strong work ethic and flexibility to meet dynamic business needs; / Éthique de travail impeccable et souplesse permettant de satisfaire aux besoins d'affaires en constante évolution;
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and ERP aptitude; / Maîtrise avancée de MS Excel et aptitude à utiliser les systèmes de gestion intégrés;
• Experience, proficiency and comfort in communicating and working effectively at various levels, including senior management; / Expérience, compétence et aisance en matière de communication et de collaboration efficace avec tous les échelons, y compris la haute direction;
• A sense of autonomy, initiative and responsibility; / Motivation, autonomie et esprit d'initiative favorisant la résolution de problèmes ;

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft; / Connaissance de l'environnement PeopleSoft;

Compensation and company note

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000–$100,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
