Overview

Point 1 Displays is looking for a talented designer to join our team! We specialize in designing and manufacturing both temporary and permanent product merchandising displays that are to be placed in the retail market for some of the top brand names across the country.

Location and Role

We are looking for the right person to join our Design Group based in Montreal. Do you have a creative approach to merchandising products? Can you design a display that is efficient and easily executable? The candidate we are looking for will be tasked with both the conception as well as the structural aspects of a display.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and design product displays, focusing on concept and structural feasibility.
• Collaborate with team to develop displays suitable for retail environments.

Qualifications

• Must be located in Montreal
• Good knowledge of AutoCad and experience working with corrugated cardboard as well as different permanent materials such as plastic, wood and metal
• Fluid bilingualism: English and French
• Knowledge of factory manufacturing and interest in product marketing (an asset)
• Ideal candidate has a BAC in Industrial Design or equivalent; alternatively, strong background in the Packaging Industry
