Role Overview

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer with a passion for user experience and mobility, to contribute to the design of digital interfaces integrated into our recreational vehicles. As part of your duties, you will work closely with product managers, software teams, and vehicle engineering. You will support the implementation and validate the UX/UI quality of the deliverables through agile practices.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design embedded interfaces such as dashboard screens, controls, and vehicle displays.
  • Create interactions for our mobile and web platforms, including connectivity, vehicle tracking, and digital services.
  • Develop end-to-end user journeys that span from the vehicle to digital ecosystems.
  • Conduct user research: interviews, user testing, field observations, and data analysis.
  • Translate user needs into personas, journeys, usage scenarios, and innovation opportunities.
  • Design consistent user experiences for constrained environments (vibrations, brightness, weather, gloves, and safety).
  • Define information architecture, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance desirability, feasibility, and viability.
  • Design clear, robust, and readable visual interfaces for use in extreme conditions.
  • Apply and evolve design systems (components, styles, and guidelines) and ensure visual consistency between embedded interfaces and mobile/web platforms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design (digital product, software, or embedded).
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, ergonomics, and user-centered design.
  • Excellent command of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience in connected products, IoT, embedded, automotive, or industrial sectors (major asset).
  • Ability to design for critical and contextual interfaces that meet safety, attention, and performance requirements.
  • Curiosity about vehicles, mobility, the outdoors, or motorized sports.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented, and continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Ability to explain and defend design choices to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and a sense of priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience with HMI, IVI, or embedded displays.
  • Knowledge of regulatory or safety constraints such as ISO or accessibility standards.
  • Sensitivity to international and multi-brand environments.
  • Interest in telemetry, vehicle connectivity, and digital services.
