Your Mission in the Team

Participate in the development of “shopper marketing” programs with our food and pharma suppliers within the Conversion Media group of Metro Inc. Work with loyalty, eComm, marketplace, and marketing teams to create mass promotions and activation marketing. Measure impacts, provide recommendations and follow‑up. Execute in‑store tasting program activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all promotional activities including timelines, creation tracking, budget tracking, legal, etc.
  • Determine and manage marketing tools that add value to promotions (Radio Metro, newsletters, email, Facebook, circulars, etc.).
  • Communicate promotion programs to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze and measure the impact of promotions by writing concise post‑mortems for each.
  • Research and implement new industry promotion trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing, communication or project management.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in marketing operations.
  • Relevant experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills and persuasive influence.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Essential: Bilingual (English/Français) to collaborate with unilingual English partners.
  • Knowledge of SAP – an advantage.
