Job Description

Reports to and collaborates with the Director, Marketing & Communications, to deliver brand‑consistent internal and external events that advance business priorities and deepen employee and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Commercial, People) to plan and execute internal and external events that reinforce key business priorities and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Maintain an annual events calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, sponsorship commitments, and key internal events.
  • Execute MSC Canada planned campaign events, signature customer events, and provide support for additional major events and hospitality programs.
  • Plan and deliver internal events such as the holiday party and summer staff BBQs.
  • Coordinate sponsorship deliverables, including asset alignment to brand standards and logistics for activations, working closely with Geneva on briefs and execution.
  • Manage event logistics end‑to‑end, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgets, and on‑site execution where required, ensuring all details meet brand and quality standards.
  • Oversee post‑event follow‑up, including ROI reporting, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain event documentation, templates, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all programs.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added or modified to meet changing business requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in event planning, marketing, or related roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience managing corporate events and sponsorship activations.
  • Skilled at managing timelines, budgets, and multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.
